THE PHANTOM DRYER SOCK THIEF MAN

Don’t ask questions
you don’t want to know
the answers to…
They say write about what you know. Well here’s what you get when I try to follow conventional advice.
Originating from a bit between friends, The Phantom Dryer Sock Thief Man went through several cycles of re-writes and concept shoots and somehow still ended up being 60% improv that was funnier than the original script. I credit my co-producer and editor for pulling together a brilliant final product nailing the slasher and psychological horror genres we set out to spoof and the actor who played the titular role for absolute commitment to the bit.
And though it may leave you with more questions than answers, at least now we all know why we pull out a load of laundry out of the dryer from time to time and there are fewer socks than when we put it in.
