The Bard is an action-adventure comedy series inspired by my experiences in graduate school and the ever looming black box of success. Following a completely unknown William Shakespeare during the years between leaving his home in Stratford-upon-Avon and bursting into the mainstream theater scene in London, we see a young man falling upward through a series of misadventures all the while simply trying to return home.

Witty, swashbuckling, and heartwarming, the story of a broke, wanted bartender working desperately to return to his wife and children shows that the title of “genius” may be just as accurately defined by the foolishness to continue dreaming as it is by any innate talent.
